About the Area

The northern end of the Gold Coast, with Southport as the commercial hub, has been flourishing as long as there have been visitors.

Southport has been seeing revitalization and strong growth in the residential sector and business sector.

The high-rises already built and approved for building have increased the demand. Combined with the influx of residents from the southern states and overseas, this means Southport and surrounds have been showing a very strong growth pattern.

The immediate areas surrounding Southport have been developed or startlingly redeveloped and are in great demand for families and professional people.

The Gold Coast Council is supporting all this development and growth and the extensive Broadwater development will only add to the appeal of Southport.

Surrounding Southport are the suburbs of Benowa, Ashmore, Labrador, Biggera Waters, Runaway Bay, Paradise Point, Arundel, Bundall and close to the ocean, Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. The water canal areas of Isle of Capri, Chevron, Broadbeach Waters have already had great appeal and many properties have been either renovated or rebuilt.

Where else could you find sun, surf, a relaxed lifestyle and the opportunity to work within a few minutes of the business heart.
